Own Photo Analysis

Shot 2-2
In this picture I have placed the mug and letter in the foreground (Due to my lack of experience with a camera I could not get either of the shots I tried to get, I first tried to get it to focus on just the steam from the mug, which would be used as imagery as the steam would reference the characters possible relation to the Nazis. The second shot I attempted to shoot was with the letter in focus and the mug in the background, this would have shown that the letter is of some significance and the audience is supposed to know that this letter would progress the story of the film.
Shot 2-5
The picture of the character holding the mug is supposed to represent his false innocence, within mainstream media the antagonist would be drinking something exotic and alcoholic in a crystal clear glass. This picture would subvert the antagonists stereotype as instead he is drinking tea from a plain brown mug. From here we can see that the character is a white male and is possibly quite old because of the definition on the hand. This is another subversion of the antagonist stereotype as they are normally portrayed as a more exotic skin colour and normally younger.
Shot 1-4
In this picture you can see (A horribly composed) door handle with a lock, this represents how the main character (The antagonist) is hiding something and is keeping is locked away. This would encourage the audience to continue watching as they would want to know what the main character is hiding.
