Eichmann
After the distribution companies titles we are shown some text giving back story on the film and its characters, the font used looks like the same font used by a type-writer, this immediately establishes the era of this film and possibly its theme.(World War 2). It is accompanied by soft piano and choir, this tells the audience that this film might not be based on the fightings itself but more on the civilian/non-combat aspect of the war.

The production company title comes up two shots after the text, it uses the same type-writer font and is coloured white on a black background. The text says 'Media 8 Entertainment Presents', this font size is relatively small compared to the rest of the shot but it is highly prevalent within it as it is to the middle/left of the screen on a black background. This means it stands out and can be read easily.

The next shot's titles consists of two more production companies, 'A Karl Richards / E-Motion Production'. This time the text is in the centre of the screen and has complete control of the shot and it has the same text type as the last ones which continues to notify us that the war-era will play a big part in this films narrative.

The next shot says '& Motion Investment Group' with the same text font and colour, both this shot and the last have been of a wall in what I assume would be a poorly maintained building, both the wall shots have been of the wall being two different colours(White and Brown) , separated in the middle and the text laid over the brown,  this strengthens the significant of the text.

In the next shot the actors start being introduced, 'Thomas Kretschmann' being the first. The same text font is used again on a black background. The text is over to the right hand side so that it does not completely dominate the shot but it has significant relevancy, this has been done to highlight the shot itself, I can see what looks like a close-up of a sheet of metal with many holes in it, these holes look like they represent bullet holes and wounds, suggesting that this film might be set after the war itself.

In this shot I can see the text inside the shadow of a tap, the next is to the right of the centrally framed tap, it uses the same font and colour as all the other text used. This title is another actor, 'Franka Potente' and because of the the titles placing it could suggest that his character might have antagonistic role in this film

The next shot is of bathroom items on a table, the text 'Stephen Fry' is against the back wall, slightly to the right of the tooth brush inside of the largest open space, this suggests that the character might have some sort of main protagonist role as his text is placed in a completely lit up area unlike the rest of the actors.

And then we have the actual film title, 'Eichmann'. The text is a little bigger this time and is underlined, this shows that the character 'Eichmann' is a very significant part of this film as the text stands out from the rest and the film is named after the character. We are also given some sort of idea on what the character is like as the shot it is placed over is a prison cell, this shows us that the character might be a antagonist and based on the era and German name he might also be a Nazi.

I could use several of the techniques used here within my own film, I could mimic the placement of the text and place our actor names within certain places, allowing the audience to get an idea on what the characters will be like within the narrative. The font and colour of the text will help our film establish the theme of the film, this font would tell the audience that the war has some significant within our narrative and the type-writer font can be linked to the main character and he is old fashioned, being from the war.
