Own Photo Analysis

Shot 1-5

This shot contains and all black coat on a black coat hanger in a darkened room. At the front of the room their is a door which provides the only main source of light inside the shot. The dark hanging coat within this shot represents the guilt hanging over the main character. The black of the coat  represents the evil and wrong actions the character has done in the past and it is now hung over him.

Shot 1-6

This shot is similar to the first except at a higher angle, it also includes a pile of shoes within the frame. This shot is wider than the first which means the hanging coat takes up much less of the shot. The hanging coat over the pile of shoes is symbolism for the main character, the coat lone coat which is hanging from the stand foreshadows the characters possible death by suicide as the coat is hanging like a noose from a tree. The shoes beneath the coat represent all the people the main character has either directly or assisted in killing whilst he was a Nazi, each pair of shoes representing a different soul which he has reaped.

Shot 2-1

In this shot we see a television inside of a kitchen playing what looks like a war documentary. (This is not the shot that I wanted, I had to take it because this was the oldest T.V in the house. If I could retake it I would move it into the living room and have much less stuff within the frame.)

This image is in a old living room with little colour and decoration around the room. The dominant object within the image is framed slightly right of the center, it is an old TV set playing a World War 2 documentary. The room contains very little colour and is almost black and white, their is also a small shadow being cast by the TV. As their are Nazis on the TV and there is a shadow being cast by the tv this could hint to the main characters former involvement with the organisation. The shadow represents the characters dark past mysterious personality. The bland room also represents the character in that he is a simple man with no need to a lavish life style and is possibly struggling with money, this is because the room contain zero character and there is nothing which could indicate that the character is wealthy.
