Film Idea-
Name-
The name for our film we have come up with is Lügen, the German word for lies. We have chose this as a candidate for our film because of its relation to the story, the elderly man was a Nazi Officer and has gone unprosecuted due to him lying and evading prosecution. The word Lügen also sounds and looks very similar to the word Luger, a pistol used by the Nazi Officers during the war, this foreshadows the possibility of him being a Nazi.
The short film extract itself would have many different areas which it would hint the possibilty of being a Nazi by the use of imagery and symbols.

The intention of the opening is to hook the audience into watching the rest of the film, the idea we have formulated would do this successfully do this by not revealing too much of the story but just enough to give the audience an idea on what it is about.

The main character will not be directly introduced during the opening, we will just hint traits and characteristics of him using imagery and subtle hints. At first we will make him look as though he is an average elderly man living in Britain but as the narrative progresses the audience will see that he is a Nazi and not so innocent as he was first represented.
